About Us
Boroughbridge Equestrian is set on our beautiful, family 400 acre working farm, just 5 minutes from junction 48 on the A1. The family have occupied our mixed arable and livestock farm since 1926. David joined the family business in the early 80’s and is now the forth generation at the helm.
In 2013 David and Rachael married. Rachael now runs our successful Equestrian Centre and they have three children.
Meet Rachael
Rachael has ridden from the age of 5 years old, having her first pony Fai, aged 6. Rachael grew up at her parents livery yard – Home Farm in Menston and has enjoyed many years successfully BSJA show jumping. She also competed at Cross Country, ODE and enjoyed many great days Hunting. She was a member of the Bramham Moor PC.
Rachael has always had a keen interest in property which led her to a successful career at Reed Rains Estate Agents. At 24 she left to run her family business; Reynard Crag Holiday Park at Birstwith. Rachael has always thrived and thoroughly enjoyed business & horses and now runs the farm with David & businesses within the farm.
With very high standards, a forward thinking attitude and a wonderful vision, Rachael strives to make Boroughbridge Equestrian second to none and to provide a wonderful place for clients to enjoy time with their horse or ponies.
Today we continue to run our successful mixed arable and livestock farm together with our well respected companies; The Log Shed, & Hay Cap.
